Hello,

I’m an independent learner who enjoys taking advantage of the many opportutnities which the internet offers to learn new things. As I’ve traveled to numerous countries around the world and have lived in three, languages are a special passion of mine. I speak English and German, and am studying French, Russian, and Japanese. Although I’ve taken language courses at brick and mortar universities, I wasn’t happy with the fact that they don’t seem to lead you to fluency, despite costing hundreds or even thousands of dollars. As I researched alternatives, I found many free and low-cost options online. I’ve been doing numerous courses at Memrise for nearly three years, and recently discovered Clozemaster. This website is going to explore methods of language learning which are low-cost, accessible, and can be used to lead one to mastery of the language.
